From the moment you step into our studio, Lynley and I want you to feel like you've arrived at a serene haven, a place where the bustle of daily life melts away and the focus is entirely on you and capturing your family’s cherished moments.
A Space Crafted for Comfort
Our studio has been thoughtfully designed to be your home away from home. Sink into our plush seating and unwind as you watch your session unfold. It’s not uncommon for our busy mothers to catch a restful nap on our cosy couch while older children delight in their dedicated play area. Refreshments are always available, including a selection of cold drinks, tea, and coffee. For our youngest guests, we offer a fully equipped changing area, complete with all the essentials like spare nappies, wipes, and soft muslins, ensuring a hassle-free experience for parents.
A Wardrobe to Match Every Style
Explore our extensive studio wardrobe, filled with exquisite choices for your baby and children up to age 7; as well as elegant options for maternity and mums seeking a touch of glamour. QUALIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS
I have been a Qualified Newborn Photographer with the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International (APNPI) since 2018
The accreditation process includes submitting a newborn portfolio for critique + achieving 100% in an exam on the safe handling of newborns
I am an Accredited Professional Photographer with the New Zealand Institute for Professional Photographers (NZIPP)
To become accredited, I submitted a portfolio for critique by recognised NZ photographic leaders. I also demonstrated that I had met technical, creative and business standards, adhere to the Code of Ethics + undertake regular professional development
I am an Associate with the International Portrait Masters, joining just a handful of New Zealand photographers to hold this qualification
To reach Associate, I built a portfolio of more than 50 Awarded Images based on scores from the Portrait Masters judging panel. The judges are all internationally recognised photographers who specialise in photography across a range of genres

At our studio, the safety and comfort of your newborn baby is paramount. Both Lynley and I have undergone rigorous training in newborn safety and posing techniques under the guidance of world-renowned newborn photographer Kelly Brown. In addition, I have undertaken a comprehensive safety program with the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International (APNPI). This specialised training ensures we are adept in the unique physiological and psychological needs of newborn babies, enabling us to handle your baby with the utmost care while posing.

Lynley, who is renowned among our clients for her exceptional baby-whispering skills, will closely monitor and gently comfort your baby at all times. Her expertise ensures a secure environment and offers new parents a chance to glean valuable insights into soothing techniques.
Advanced Techniques for Seamless Beauty
To maintain creativity while ensuring the absolute safety of your baby, we use sophisticated Photoshop techniques when needed. This includes creating composite images and editing out supporting hands where necessary. These advanced skills allow us to achieve beautiful, artistic results without compromising on safety.
